- Daily Backups to tapes.
- Hardware installation services.
- Spares management and repairs.
- Service Level Agreement.
All facilities include full backup power with dual redundnacy,
secure access, 24/7 CCTV monitoring, Fire Suppression
and Bandwidth up to from 1-100mbs.
Rack and Shelf Space
If you have your own servers and need to house them at
the most advantageous point in the Internet, where price
and speed come together at the best price break, you can
rent rack and/or shelf space with dedicated bandwidth.
You ship your machines to us, or come and install them
yourself. We can supply you with an MCSE trained or hardware
trained technician should you wish us to provide maintenance
for you on an emergency or maintenance basis.

Fire Suppression
All Co-located server facilities at NetSupport feature
full fire suppression. FM-200 systems are employed to
protect critical installations formerly protected by Halon
1301.
 |
These include:
- Data Centres
- Telephone Switches
- Process Control Rooms
- Art and Historical Collections
- Facilities where water damage from sprinklers
must be avoided at all costs
In a typical system the extinguishing agent is typically
stored in cylinders or spheres. It is delivered
to distribution nozzles through a system piping
network. |
Critical to the functioning of the system is the fire
detection and control network. Typically smoke detectors
sense the presence of fire in the protected facility.
The detection and control panel then sounds an alarm,
shuts down air handlers and disconnects power from the
protected equipment and releases agent into the protected
area.
Using the Kidde Fire Detection system to control the
release of agent. The control system uses both intelligent
addressable analog sensors and centralized decision
making to virtually eliminate false alarms and unwanted
agent releases. The detectors report on a real-time
basis to the control unit where the microcontroller
makes the ultimate alarm decision. The control panel
is modular to allow you to add on to the system as your
requirements change over time.
Security
As with any office premises, we take the security of
both our facilities and our guests seriously.
 |
The NetSupport site features the latest
security systems, both internally and externally.
These include high definition CCTV and sensors covering
the whole development, 24/7 motion detection and
off site monitoring, internal CCTV monitoring of
all suites, Access control systems are operational
for all entry and exit points around the facilities.
|
On arrival, each staff member will be provided with
a unique proximity device, allowing them access to all
authorised areas of the Business Continuity facility
during their stay.
Backup Power
One of the key requirements of a successful business
continuity facility is to secure its operational status
in the event of a more localised disaster, such as a
break in the mains power supply to the area.
With this in mind the NetSupport Powerweb business
continuity suites feature fully independent backup power
supplies.

The site has two (again with a view
to additional redundancy of systems) 125kVA Perkins
1006TAG 6 cylinder turbo charged diesel generators
with full auto start and remote auto transfer integration
which will activate the systems within 15 seconds
of a network power failure. |
The entire system has full mechanical governing to
BS5514A. Both generators have 350 litre internal fuel
reserves and are supported by additional 1500 litre
reserve tanks, guaranteeing a minimum of 60 hours operation
prior to replenishment.
