| The Chartered Institute Of Purchasing & Supply Establish A Disaster Recovery Plan With Help From NetSupport | | 30/06/2010 | The Chartered Institute Of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) have chosen NetSupport to remotely host their Disaster Recovery Servers.
CIPS is the leading body in procurement and supply chain management, helping individuals, business, organisations and the profession as a whole to maximise the benefits of procurement practice. Membership of the organisation provides many benefits including a comprehensive range of courses, conferences and publications. CIPS also offers business solutions packages.
Ensuring continuity of service to their customers is key and this led CIPS to look for a partner who could help minimise the amount of system downtime in the event of unforseen circumstances impacting on this objective.
As one of the leading providers of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery services in the East Midlands and East Anglia, NetSupport were ideally situated to help the South Lincolnshire based organisation.
However, as Brett Caruso explains, it wasn’t just location that attracted CIPS to NetSupport; “Being a local company, we’d heard positive reviews about the services provided by NetSupport and once we got to see their state-of-the-art facilities we could see why. They have obviously invested heavily in their infrastructure and the data centres were impressive to say the least. We were left in no doubt that NetSupport would be the ideal partner to remotely host our servers.”
